A recent graduate of Northern Vermont University and Green Mountain Massage School in May of 2019, Courtney is a certified Massage Therapist and has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Business. Courtney is a native Vermonter and has always felt a calling towards helping others heal holistically, meeting them where they are at, and optimizing independence.
With a keen interest in the mind-body connection, Courtney has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding the anatomy and physiology of the body in relation to human development, social behavior, and cognitive processes. She is currently drawn to utilizing her knowledge of Reflexology, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai Bodywork, and Hydrotherapy as well as Spa Bodywork to help her clients move further along their journey to a healthier, happier, and more mindful version of themselves.
Courtney is excited to apply her skills and experience gained in working as a massage therapist later on when she embarks upon her journey in a Master’s of Occupational Therapy program. It is Courtney’s ultimate goal to be able to one day work as both a Registered Occupational Therapist and Certified Massage Therapist. While it is Courtney’s passion to work with children in home health and in the community to optimize their level of independence in the early foundation of daily life skills as well as fine and gross motor skills, Courtney also shares a passion in working in the spa world and helping people of all ages take the initiative to enhance their overall sense of emotional and physical well-being.
