Thinking about having skin services done for your acne, but have questions before you start treatments?

We will go over lifestyle, diet, current products, medical conditions and medications that might be effecting your skin and how

this acne program works.  Your first acne treatment will begin with a consultation, you will receive information regarding acne and how

to achieve and maintain a clear complexion.  We will discuss the facts and myths surrounding acne and what causes it.

We will then go into the treatment room and examine and test your skin to determine and learn what type of skin and acne you may have.

This will determine the best products needed for your skin. The number of required treatments varies, but typically, clearing takes 3 months;

significant results can be seen in 6 weeks.

Expect to pay about $125-$175 for your initial set of products. Once those run out (between 2 and 3 months), clients average about $50 a month.

As you go through the process of achieving clear skin, you will want to come in for treatments every two weeks. The reason for getting treatments

is to monitor your progress and make changes to your home care as needed.

                                                                              • Proper exfoliation allows the products to penetrate the skin and into the pores much more effectively.

                                                                              • Hydrate the skin, which is necessary for more rapid healing of lesions and to make your skin more

receptive to your home care regimen.

The acne products have a tendency to dry out the skin as you are getting used to them.

                                                                                                                                                • Extract existing acne impactions

                                                                                                                                                • Treat and combat bacteria inside the pore

                                                                                                                                                • Lighten dark spots that are caused by acne lesions

Once your acne is under control, continuing your home care regimen is essential to maintaining results.

Clients generally come in for a follow up every few months just to keep their skin as healthy as possible.

All follow-up acne treatments are customized, depending on what the skin needs at the time, but will always include extractions

if needed and exfoliation.  When necessary, changes will be made to your home care routine to keep ahead of the adaptation

process. At times this may mean incorporating a new product, but often it is simply a matter of switching up how and when you

apply them.  You will never be sold anything your skin doesn’t need.
